New Print Techniques Guide Available

Blackmore's production team has been developing new, sustainable, inline printing techniques. We've put together a new free print guide with details of these latest printing techniques aimed at toiletries companies, that can help them save time and money, and add value.

By working closely with our customers in the toiletries sector, Nigel Hunt, our Production Director, and the team have trialled and developed custom printing techniques, especially for the toiletries industry, including a water-based, recyclable barrier coating to stop oil-based soaps from permeating through to the packaging (replacing single-use plastic-based laminated paper, that can’t be recycled).

In the print guide for the toiletries sector, we cover:

The Latest Printing Techniques

Including the latest water-based, recyclable oil-proof coatings to stop any oil from the soap from permeating through to the packaging. The coating can also promote mould-inhibiting properties.

New Recyclable Inline Print Finishes

These inline finishes are created during the same process as your print, saving time, money and making them more sustainable. These include different matt finishes, gloss UV varnishes, UV white inks, dry-wipe coatings, and more!

Thicker material print solutions

With more flexible print presses available, print can now be applied to a wider range of thickness, for example, the thicker materials can make your mail-order toiletries boxes or carton gift sets more durable.
